Dating to the 1980s or so may I offer this retro modern necklace. Who made it, I don't know - but artisan hand crafted it definitely is! Here's a modernistic pendant on a chain - coil - wire that is most interesting. At first thought, I thought the bottom pendant was formed from a fork (4 tines) but looking at it a little more, I see it is probably cast that way. With a large center round of a white synthetic material, the bottom of the pendant features a faceted garnet. The chain/coil - whatever you want to call it, has a most unique tubular catch as shown in the pics. Condition is excellent with no problems I can spot.
Metal Content: Sterling Silver with no marks on the pendant - chain is marked 925. Metal of the pendant has been acid tested for content.
Size: Coil is hard to gauge but around 16-1/2" long. Pendant measures 2-3/4" long x 1" wide.
Weight: 24 grams
Final Comments: Ready to wear!
