Dating anywhere from the 1930s to 1950s, may I offer this silver pin Made in Ireland and featuring cut sections of green Connemara marble in the design. And the design? Why an Irish Shamrock to be sure! While the top section of the pin is silver, the pin itself is just costume silverplate - there's a safety catch to hold the pin in place. Condition is very nice with a vintage patina to the silver.
Metal Content is Sterling Silver with Irish Hallmarks to the back of the pin denoting country of manufacture, metal content and date of manufacture - unfortunately they are too small for me to make out.
Size is on the small side at 3/4" wide x 11/16" high. Weight is 2.6 grams.
Final Comments: If you need a little bit of green for St Patricks Day, here's the perfect accessory to a coat lapel!
