Dating to the early 1900s or so may I offer this carved pink shell cameo set in the most simple of settings - a cross bar frame of rose gold tipped, at the front, at each end with a single natural pearl. The cameo is not what you'd call "fine" but rather a technique devised by the Italians to manufacture souvenir jewelry for those persons on a World Tour. Condition: The cameo is perfect, the frame is perfect, the bale has a touch of light wear on either side from having gone back and forth on a chain. Nothing you can really spot with the naked eye unless you specifically look for it.
Metal Content: 10K Gold with a Hallmark of 10K along with a maker's mark on the bale.
Size: From top of bale to bottom measures 1-3/16"; width is 3/4".
Weight: 2.3 grams
Final Comments: Chain shown is for display only - it is not included in the purchase. Sorry the pics show so much flash - cameos are one thing I haven't learned the knack of photographing.
