Dating to the early 1900s or so, may I offer this delicate rose gold fashion ring of the times! With a little bit of etching to either side of the shank, the center stone is an oval cab of orange carnelian. Condition is very nice although I can tell from the back that the ring has been resized (the inside black solder tells me this).
Metal Content: 10K Gold with no Hallmark. The mark may possibly have been where the resizing was done however the metal was gently acid tested for content.
Size: 7 on my sizer. Cab measures 5/16" x 3/16" (7mm x 5mm). Back of the shank is only .8mm wide.
Weight: 1.8 grams
Final Comments: Adorable!
