If you love the look of lots of gold climbing up your ear and then ending in a beautiful faceted briolette drop, then look no further! For pierced ears, the earrings feature a peacock about to fly! With each diamond studded wing in full stretch, the crowned head of the bird looks off into the air. The earwires are posts. Condition is perfect with no problems I can spot. No nuts to the earrings but (a) every lady has her fair share of nuts in her jewelry container [you only ever can wear one pair] and (b) no nuts means less weight which means a smaller price!
Metal Content is 14K Gold - Yellow Gold - with hallmarks of 14K on the post and (makers mark) 14K China at the back of the earring.
From top of wing to bottom measures 1-5/8"; width is about 1/2" at the widest section of the wing. Combined weight of the pair is 7 grams and a bit.
The amethyst briolette alone measures a little over 1/2" long x 1/4" wide. I'd say it is about a 3-5 Carat faceted drop.
The diamonds number 21 to each earrings and are accents at about 1/2 point to 1 point. I'd guesstimate the total carat count to be about .25CT TW.
Final Comments: Fashion earrings at their finest! These are well made beauties, thick on the gold and overall, just so well made!
