Dating anywhere from the 1920s to the 1940s, may I offer this rose and white gold engagement ring or past - present- future ring featuring 3 faceted round diamonds. While the band is rose gold, the diamonds are set in white gold (as seen in the photos). Condition is very nice with no problems I can spot.
Metal Content is 14K Gold with a hallmark of 14K on the inside of the shank.
Ring size is 7.75 on my sizer. Design, north/south, on the top is about 3/16" and a bit. Weight is 2.8 grams.
Diamonds: the center diamond measures 4.5mm (.36CT). The 2 shoulder stones measure 3.8mm each (.22CT) for a total of .44CT TW. TOTAL gemstone weight to the ring is .80CT TW approx. The stones are G-H in color and are graded SI1-2. NOTE: While the center stone and one of the side stones are a matching "flat top", the other shoulder stone is a little bit higher in its setting. This could be a replacement stone but. to these sad eyes, nothing looks to be amiss and it might just be the way the ring was made. In other words, a custom job using diamonds that the previous owner might have had in their possession.
Final Comments: A lot of gold and diamonds for a reasonable price! For the gent on a budget!
