Dating to the 1950s/1960s or so, here's a single millinery flower that was attached to a straw hat. While the hat could not be saved, the flower could.
Made of silk and velvet, the flower is overly large and features a pink stamen with green leaves - a portion of the original brown netting is still attached to the underside. Very clean piece but with a definite patina of age.
Measures 5-3/4" across.
