Dating precisely to 2004, here's a handmade - artisan made, coin silver pendant that is a "reverse" piece. With the design of a discus thrower to the front, the converted coin has an incised impression so that if you were to apply the pendant to a bit of plaster, it would leave a bas relief (upraised) design. Along with the image of the discus thrower are the Olympic Rings, Athens and at the bottom, 2 stars and 2004. Condition is excellent with a hand applied bale - plain back.
Metal Content is Coin Silver - I cannot tell what Grecian coin it is. Plain back.
Size without bale is 1-1/16" high/wide; weight is 5.3 grams.
Just too cool!
