Dating to the late 1890s or so, here's a French prayer card - holy card printed by the firm of L. Turgis et Fils, 413, Editeurs, Paris, France. The card is a sheet of paper lace aka canivet and features an engraving at the center of Saint Anthony of Padua with the Infant Jesus. The card's front is printed in French, English and German while the back prayer is in English. Definitely a card made for export. Condition is very nice with a very light brown stain to the top right corner (front) and some light browning to the back.
Hallmarks: L. Turgis et Fils, 413, Editeurs, Paris at the front of the card.
Size is 4-5/8" x 3" approx.
A wonderful religious card that is very, very nice for its age.
