May I offer.....
AGE: To be honest - I have no idea but possibly C.1950
ITEM: Found in an estate in St. Louis, I don't know if the lady used this piece as an example or if she created it herself. The center yellow floral appears to be chiffon but the green ombre leaves are definitely French. The decorative cording you can purchase today but from what I have seen - all the dealers selling it claim it is "vintage".
CONDITION: Pretty darn nice. It needed only a few stitches and a bit of crinoline to put it back into shape as it was dangling by threads that had seen better days.
SIZE: Adding in the cording, 2" c 1-1/4"; the center flower alone (without leaves) measures 15/16" high/wide.
FINAL COMMENTS: A salvaged piece ready to be used again.
