Dating to the Antique Edwardian period may I offer this silver and slate blue enamel pin/brooch by (I believe) Marius Hammer of Bergen, Norway. The pin has an open section at the center and the enamel overlay is over an engine turned (guilloche) background of lines. Simple c-catch closure. Condition is very nice with no problems I can spot. The back appears to have had a gold overlay (vermeil).
Metal Content: Sterling Silver. Hallmarks include 925 along with a makers mark I interpret as being Hammer's. It is a bit different than the usual - more of an artistic M with a hammer at the top rather than the bottom. But if I have the mark wrong, well, the pin is still Scandinavian in origin and very, very nice!
Size: 2-1/4" x 5/8".
