With the chain dating to the early 1900s and the heart lock dating to C.1940 or so, may I offer this starter single link charm bracelet composed of a length of antique engraved chain and a retro modern enamel (pink roses with green leaves on a pale yellow guilloche background) heart lock charm. The lock is the type that doesn't need a key - to open, gently depress the little latch on the side of the curved bar, and to close, simply snap back into place. The closure works as it should.
Condition: Excellent with no problems I can spot. Enamel is intact - no chips, breaks, etc. Perfect patina to the silver.
Metal Content: Sterling Silver with STERLING marked on the back of the lock - no markings on the chain; it was lightly acid tested for content.
Size: Length of the bracelet is about 7-1/2"; width is 3/8". The lock measures 1/2" wide x 11/16" high (to top of bar).
Weight: 14.8 grams combined.
Final Comments: Absolutely gorgeous and the perfect start to a collection of puffy heart charms!
