Dating to the early 1900s may I offer this incredibly beautiful yellow gold link bracelet from the Art Nouveau era. This piece, I kid you not, is the epitome of Belle Epoque jewelry! With oval cabs of bright, clear chrysoprase set in swirling curlicue links, the bracelet is highlighted by faceted round diamonds (both at the top, bottom and sides of the green stones) and what I believe to be natural button pearls between each link. the closure is a simple spring catch with safety chain for added security. Condition is excellent with no real problems I can spot. There is one link with the pearl that sometimes gets "stuck" in the turning round but a little wiggle and it is fine.
Metal Content: The bracelet tests at a high gold content than 14K but under 18K. So since I can't really put my finger on an exact number, I will state that the bracelet is 14K gold. There are no hallmarks which is the norm for American made jewelry from this time period.
Size: Length of the bracelet is 7-1/2"; width of the links is (diamond to diamond) is 11/16".
Chrysoprase: 5 cabs measuring 8mm x 9mm.
Diamonds: There are 20 old cut diamonds, bezel set, in the bracelet. Size is approximately 2mm (3 points) each for a total weight of .60CT TW.
Natural Pearls: There are 12 pearls to the bracelet - spiked and sitting on a cupped back. Each pearl is about 4.5mm round.
Weight: 29 grams
Final Comments: Absolutely magnificent!
