Created by me, Robin Yeo in the 1990s when I was doing craft shows on a consistent basis, may I offer the last heart box I created and brought with me from California when I moved to Missouri.
Starting with a heart shaped chipwood box I covered the outside in all manner of fabric - cream moire taffeta, lace, vintage/antique ribbon (with a touh of mauve coloring), silk ribbon trim (mauve and mint green), satin ribbon, edging and gimp. On the inside bottom I placed a small pad of moire, edged it in gimp and added a satin ribbon bow. The result is what you see - a small trinket box that could be used to hold a piece of jewelry for presentation or some small treasure.
Height is about 1-1/2"; width is about 2-1/4" on the bottom - 2-1/2" at the top.
As I say, this is my last one and only!
